Meetings
The youth of Mount Carmel meet at least monthly to share fun, fellowship, faith-building and service to others. High schoolers and middle schoolers are welcome to bring friends (with their parents’ permission) to all youth events. Youth are involved in many aspects of Mount Carmel's congregational life, including worship leadership and holding a Youth seat on the Congregation Council. Caring parents, adult mentors, and/or pastors are always there to accompany the youth.

Servant Trip
Annually, our youth dedicate a week of their summer to serving on a short-term mission trip, in partnership with the youth of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church Columbia Heights. Past trips have taken us to International Falls, Minnesota, Denver, Colorado, Martin, South Dakota, and Thunder Bay, Ontario. We are currently planning a 2009 servant trip to the Quad Cities -- actually five communities flanking the Mississippi River in Iowa and Illinois. Pictured below is the joint Mt.
