The Mount Carmel Foundation was established in 1964 by a handful of our members who had the vision to see the benefit of providing financial assistance to Mt. Carmel Church for projects, programs and property aside from generally budgeted items – thus helping to assure the continued well-being of the congregation. This financial assistance is made possible through sound investment of legacies and other gifts from members and friends of Mt. Carmel. Examples of major funding are annual scholarships, a contribution toward the new furnace and organ refurbishing. The Foundation consists of 12 voting members who meet several times per year to review investments and funding requests.
